DIACOMET Timeout Method in Hungary

Finland’s Timeout dialogue method was tested in Hungary in 2024 within the Horizon Europe DIACOMET project. The method aims to create safe, dialogue-based spaces in a polarized public sphere. A detailed blog post titled “Calling a Timeout Instead of Winning the Debate: A Finnish Method for Real Dialogue in Noisy Times” presents the insights.

The project received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe programme (No 101094816).
