Across a Bitter Border

As part of the Voices of Visegrad project, a new article examines the growing hostility in Hungarian–Ukrainian relations. The piece highlights how Ukraine has become the central target of the Hungarian government’s propaganda machinery, how anti-Ukrainian rhetoric has intensified since Russia’s full-scale invasion in 2022, and how this narrative serves both domestic political purposes and wider Russian interests within the EU and NATO.

Voices of Visegrad Video Series

Res Publica Foundation and its V4 partners – including the Hungarian Europe Society – have kicked off a new monthly videocast, highlighting key developments and challenges across Central Europe. The first episode covers the outcomes of the NATO Summit in The Hague, Poland’s presidential elections, attacks on NGOs and Hungary’s largest Pride parade, as well as Czechia’s energy dependence on Russia.
