On 26 March 2024 Andrea Szabó, senior researcher at the Institute for Political Science of the Hun-Ren Centre for Social Sciences and Mátyás Bódi electoral geography expert talked about the chances of the forthcoming local and European elections in Hungary.

On 12 September 2023, at the seat of the Hungarian Europe Society in Budapest, Zsuzsanna Szelényi presented her book "Szétzilált ország" on the development and characteristics of the Orbán-regime. Following her presentation, Miklós Mitrovits, historian, lecturer at ELTE University and the National Public Service University analysed the political situation in Poland ahead of the parliamentary elections.
On 23 February 2023 Epp Lauk and Kristina Juraitė, Professors at the Vytautas Magnus University Kaunas talked online about the objectives of the new DIACOMET project that will start with the participation of the Hungarian Europe Society after a successful application for an EU grant. They were followed by Krisztina Rozgonyi, senior scientist at the Austrian Academy of Sciences, who spoke about the legal framework of the concept and by Erik Uszkiewicz, who elaborated the role and tasks of HES in the consortium.
Zsuzsanna Szelényi, member of the Hungarian Europe Society, Program Director of the CEU Democracy Institute Leadership Academy held a presentation to members of the organisation on 22 January 2023 in Brussels about her book entitled "Tainted Democracy". The talk was focusing on the European politics of Orbán and Hungary’s place in the world.
Thibault Muzergues, French political analyst, author of the books "The Great Class Shift: How New Social Class Structures are Redefining Western Politics" and "War in Europe?: From Impossible War to Improbable Peace" gave an online presentation entitled "The French Presidential Election and the Future of Europe" on 1 March 2022.
András Arató (Dorothy Hart Hirshon Professor in Political and Social Theory in the Sociology Department at the New School for Social Research) gave an online presentation entitled “A liberális demokrácia jövője - régi és új identitások” to HES members on 19 October 2021.
On 28 September 2021 Carsten Q. Schneider (Professor, Department of Political Science and Research Affiliate, Democracy Institute, CEU) gave an online presentation entitled “Germany - After the Elections and Before Government Formation” to HES members.
At the extraordinary assembly of the Hungarian Europe Society on 23 August 2023, Ildikó Mislai Birizdóné was elected as a member of the board. The financial report about the year 2020 was also approved. Following the session, Mónika Kovács made a presentation entitled "Illiberal Strawman or Equal Dignity and Equal Opportunities".
On 22 April 2021 there was an online event organised for the members of the Hungarian Europe Society.
Ilona Kiss, literary historian, literary translator and András Radnóti, foreign policy expert, members of the Hungarian Europe Society made short online presentations about the political situation in Russia and the upcoming Duma elections on 9 April 2021.
The Hungarian Europe Society hosted an online event on 14 October 2020 with Pál Mácsai, director of the Örkény István Theatre, Krisztina Remete, lecturer at the Budapest Metropolitan University, and Áron Szentpéteri, movie director and "SZFE (University of Theatre and Film Arts) occupier". On 1 July 2020 Edit Zgut, researcher at the Polish Academy of Sciences analysed the outcome of the first round of the presidential elections in Poland in her presentation. At the beginning of the meeting Wojciech Przybylski, the editor-in-chief of Visegrad Insight talked about the election campaign on Zoom from Warsaw.
