The conference "Cultural Rights in Central and Eastern Europe: Gender, Heritage, Language" was jointly organized by the Cultural and Social Narratives Laboratory NGO (CSN Lab) together with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), Office Russia and Central Asia in exile on 22 October 2023 in Yerevan, Armenia.
István Hegedűs and Erik Uszkiewicz participated at the conference titled "For a Democratic World Order" organised by Forum 2000 in Prague between 15-17 October 2023. István Hegedűs gave a presentation at the pre-event citizen panel "Parliament for the Future of Europe".

Erik Uszkiewicz participated at the 10th Freedom Games in Łódź between 15 and 17 September 2023. As a panelist he talked about a publication entitled "The Contemporary Human Rights Situation in Central and Eastern Europe'' and elaborated what the democratic community should reconsider when facing democratic backsliding in Hungary.

The Hungarian Europe Society has provided a platform for political analysts, policy experts, intellectuals, civil society activists and citizens from the Central European region, the European Union and the United States of America in order to analyse new global trends and seek solutions to current political, cultural and economic dilemmas. At our forthcoming event we intend to discuss with our guests the growing challenges of great power politics and their security implications, inequality in all its forms and the need of economic recovery, climate change as well as the pressure of anti-liberal, populist forces in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. This conference is also a closing event of our webinar series held in 2020-21 under the same title.

István Hegedűs made an online presentation entitled "Never Say Never – The Break-up Between Fidesz and the European People’s Party and Its Impact on the European Party System" at the conference entitled "Current Populism in Europe: What Has Changed Since the Start of the Pandemic?" organised by the Charles University in Prague, the Heinrich Böll Stiftung and the Goethe Institute on 19 May 2021.
The international conference "Tyranny and Hope: The state of Central Europe in the European Union" organised by Republikon and the Hungarian Europe Society, hosted by Friedrich Naumann Stiftung für die Freiheit was held on 10 December 2019 in Brussels.
