DIACOMET Focus Groups – Key Insights from Hungary
In 2024, focus groups were held in Budapest to examine the media landscape and public communication in Hungary as part of the Horizon Europe DIACOMET project. Participants described the media environment as both centralized and fragmented, with public debates often driven by emotional polarization. A blog post titled “Media Noise and Enemy Images: Dilemmas of Hungarian Public Discourse – Insights from the DIACOMET Focus Groups” summarizes the findings.
The project received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme (No 101094816).
