On 17 November 2025 the Hungarian European Society hosted an event in the framework of the DIACOMET project in cooperation with the SCIENCE+ regional project entitled Dialogue, Debate, Hatred. The two guest speakers were sociologist Bence Ságvári and social psychologist István Síklaki. Ságvári presented the comparative results of the European Social Survey in the East-Central European region about social attitudes and polarisation related to migration, LGBTQ+ rights, and climate change. István Síklaki added a brief commentary.

Qubit's report on the event can be found here (in Hungarian).
